PwC – Women in Headwinds
PwC’s Gender Balance Network invited Sane Seven to create a project about the barriers women carry through life and work that often go unseen.
Sane Seven developed Winds of Change: a visual concept built around the idea that many women are moving forward against headwinds others do not notice.
The project featured five PwC women speaking openly about experiences including child loss, neurodivergence and chronic fatigue.
The approach was designed to make difficult subjects visible without turning them into spectacle. Each story was handled with care, privacy and control, allowing the women to speak as themselves rather than as symbols.
The result gave PwC a clear, human way to open conversation around gender, empathy and workplace culture — helping others feel less alone, and helping the organisation see what is often hidden.
