BT needed to make its cyber team visible to the kind of specialists it wants to attract.
The challenge was not awareness. It was relevance. Senior cyber candidates need to understand the scale of the work, the pressure of the role, and the people they would be joining.
Sane Seven developed an interview approach that balanced serious, high-stakes questions with unexpected prompts designed to reveal personality.
The serious questions surfaced expertise, responsibility, national impact and the complexity of the threats BT faces. The lighter prompts brought out humour, instinct, team chemistry and the human qualities that make people credible under pressure.
This gave BT something more useful than polished recruitment messaging: a way to humanise its experts while protecting the seriousness of the work.
The result was a suite of interviews, portraits and short films that helped position BT Cyber as a place for specialist talent who want scale, consequence and a team they can recognise themselves in.
